2013 is off to a great start, bringing lots of change!!!!!!!
As many of you have already heard, the three equal founding partners of "The Out-of-Towners Beach Band" have decided to move in separate directions. Two of the founding partners, Joey Werner and Tony Kennedy, are excited to continue under the revised name of "The Original Out-of-Towners Band". This newly revised band will provide nonstop, energetic Carolina beach and shag music as well as a flavor of party music and oldies to meet the demands of today's diverse fan base.
Several of the band members of the previous version of The Out-of-Towners Band are onboard to round out that fantastic horn section that has backed many national artists such as Chicago, The Temptations, among others. The Band will also feature guest performances by previous Carolina Beach Music Association (CBMA) Male Vocalist of the Year, Rickey Godfrey, and current and five time CBMA Female Vocalist of the Year, Rhonda McDaniel upon request.
